My work explores various themes, including queer identity, sexual advertising, propaganda, urban eroticism, drama as a social component of Cuban identity, and pop culture. I use design as a tool to manipulate and fictionalize Cuba’s history, exploring the visual through various digital and physical media such as video art, interactive video games, and installations. I perceive my style as existing at the intersection of Pop Art and graphic humor. I am interested in recreating a personal and self-referential universe that reflects my experiences and emotions.
