Maya Dagnino (Paris, 1965) is a French photographer who began her career in Peru at the age of 18. She has received prestigious awards for her work, including the Prix du Judy Ilford Noir&Blanc (1991) and the Prix Fnac “Photographiez la musique” (1992). In 1998, Dagnino was awarded the Prix Le Louvre-Fnac “Photographiez le Louvre,” leading to the acquisition of her photograph by the Louvre Museum. In 2009, she was recognized with the Prix SFR Graphic for La série, which was projected at La Maison Européenne de la Photographie (MEP).
She has lived in Venezuela, India, and the United States. She currently lives and works between Paris and Havana.
