MALEZA is a group exhibition that explores the relation between the individual and vegetation, while simultaneously presenting the metaphor of the artist as an outcast. The weeds that push through the cracks represent an exercise in anarchic proliferation that opposes the established order. Survivor, opportunist, nomadic, invasive, resilient, all unwanted vegetation forms an "other" landscape where chaos and the residual prevail. In this context, entropy acquires an aesthetic value.
